MEETING OF NEW ZEALAND

EXECUTIVE

CHRISTCHURCH, April 29. At a meeting of the newly-appointed executive of the New Zealand Hockey Association, held after the annual meeting, it was decided not to allow challenging Associations a per centage of gate receipts in Challenge Shield matches.

Mr Nordon ruled that the English Association's rules, immediately passed by the Home Association, become operative in New Zealand.

The Southland Association forwarded a resolution recommending the secession of the New Zealand Hockey -Association from the Sports Federation. This is the outcome of the disqualification of the Southland Caledonian Society by the Federation. Notice of motion was given that effect be given to the Southland Association's resolution.
