The boisterous night rather militated against <he attendance at the concert in "■s. Paul's Hall last night* in aid of the School Committee's funds, but considering the circumstances there was a.fa.ir number present,' and the excellent programme put on was much appreciated.
The Meynell and Gunn Company concluded their season in the Opera House last night,- staging "The Stepmother to a fair audience.
