Many Native Churches Destroyed
Press Association.— Telegraph.— Copyright. Received April 24, 11 a.m. SYDNEY, April 23. The New Hebrides cyclone did damage to the extent of .£16,000. Three natives were drowned at Mele. The native church at Tongoa was swept off ite foundations, and twenty other native churches were demolished. The heaviest blow lasted for four hours, and twelve inches of rain fell in five hours.
