PALMERSTON N., April 22

At Palmereton North on Thursday a small entry of 6heep came forward. There was a better demand for fat sheep. A fair yarding of cattle met with a better sale, young steers selling particularly well. We quote^ — Sheep — F a t wethers 11s 7d, ewes in lamb

Cattle. — Weanere 7s 6d to 10e, store cows 276 to 355, cows in milk £3 2s 6d, forward cows £3 4« 6d to £3 10s, fat cows £3 15s to £4, fat heifers £4- 15s, two-year-old heifera in calf .£2 10s, 2 and 2i-year old steers JE3 9s Gd.
