British Qovernment Proposals.
LONDON, April 22. .Mr Lloyd George, replying to a question, said that the corner in wheat was not a matter on which the Government could usefully legislate, but they were considering the possibility of increasing the stamp tax oil options in future. The wheat market is dull, and cargoes are about threepence easier. The-"Ameri-can visible supply is 55,077,000 bushels.
