Midway between the East and West ' naycock Islands, which are only five miles the cruiser Kestrel seized an Ameri- ' can schooner ,the Charles Levi Woodbury, ■while , fiehing for halibut, on the ground of trespassing. Three rounds were fired for the purposes of scaring the crew, and the fourth ripped the mainsail before the schooner surrended.
