Chri*tchureh (Per United Press Assoriation.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. The local wheat market, as the result of the high prices ruling in Great Britain America, and the Commonwealth, has hardened considerably during the present week, and prices have advanced 6d to 9d during the last 10 days. During the current week a line of 6000 bushels changed hands in South Canterbury on a basis of 4b 6d per bushel delivered at Timaru, while other lines are being freely purchased at prices up to 4s 4d, on trucks at country stations.
