All Races to be run under Rules of N.Z. i Trotting Association. The winner of any face aiter declaration of .handicaps may be re-handi-capped. 4. Order of running subject to alteration. 5. The attention of all persons nominating cr accepting with horses is particularly directed to the following: — All Nominations and Acceptaa.-es must accompanied by the necessary Fees otherwise they will be rejected. This rule will be strictly enforced. 6. The previous performances of horses -T>ust be given at time of nomination, also colcurs of riders, under a penally of one pound. Rule J^O 7. The Stewards may call upon the owner to prove to their satisfaction the bona fides jf his horse at any time, or in any manner ih-y ngy desire. In the, event ol their not being s«=. sfied with the identity of any horse they may refuse to allow him to start or take part in the meeting. 8. All disputes' and objections arising out ol the racng shall be settled by the Judicial Cm mitten Rule Bi, Rules of Trotting. 10. Nominations must state the bona fide owner ol the horse. 11. No jockey will be allowed to iide or drive unless in full jockey's colours, and breeches Rule 212. 12. Any jockey not weighing out within ten minutes after ringing of bell, or not returning saddle cloths immediately at conclusion of events will be fined £1, which will be strictly enforced. 13. All protests must be made in writing, and accompanied by a fee of £a, to be fvrfe ttd if the protest is dismissed. 14. All protests must be in the hands of tbe Secretary within ten minutes after the dtcision of the race. 15. By the entry of or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall tr deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules, and to be barred from questioning the action oi conduct of the Club, or other body holding a sports meeting, or of any official of the club or such other body, ia respect to_ such horse, or of any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in part XXX as per Rule 163. 16. All horses or pon.ca entered at the Meet ing must be registered with the New Zealand Trotting Association prior to nomination. 17. Drivers, Riders, and Tiainers must hold current season's licenses.
