PALMERSTON N., November 19. At Palmerston to-day a fair entry of sheep met a good enquiry, and a total clearance of every lot was effected at satisfactory prices. Cattle came forward in ■'mailer numbers than usual, and no lines of grown bullocks were offered. Prices showed no improvement and 1 lie demand vas not keen. Quotations — Good forward wethers 15s 7d to 15s lid, good hoggets 11s to ]2s 4d, medium hoggfoia &■» 7d, forward ewes 10s 3d, 2-tooth ewes (shorn) 10s Id! to 10s 6d, 2-tooth wethers 10s, f.m. ewes and lambs 9s i'> lls, 2-year steers £2 7s 6d '.o .£2 15s, yearlings and 15-months steers 36s 3d 15 to 18-months heifers 375, yearling heifers 21s 6d, fat cows £4, to J>s, springing cows £d to «fi6 10s.
