Racing Pony Killed

WELLINGTON, November 20. The racing jiony Warnote, which won a race at Miramar last Saturday, was killed at Masterton yesterday. It was being exercised by its owner (H. Abbott) when the stirrup leather broke. Abbott was thrown and rendered insensible. The pony bolted into Masterton, and skidding on the roadway, fell with terrific force against a cart, and died within a quarter of an hour.
