AMUSEMENTS, MEETINGS ETC

ROYAL PICTURES.

The Royal Pictures showed to a good house last evening, when the usual varied and interesting assortment •of films was shown. The floating of wood down the rivera in France and the scenes of London were much appreciated. The old fairy tale of "Puss in Boots" was splendidly reproduced in colour, another very fine coloured subject being "The Magis Album." The humorous films were as good as ever, especially the concluding one, "Hurry up, please!"

CATHOLIC BAZAAR RAFFLES. Those interested in the above are reminded that the remaining articles (including some of the best )will be drawn for to-night at the Drill Hall at 8 o'clock. Mr William Francis, Launceston, Tas., writes: "During the recent hot epell in Melbourne, I had a very severe attack of Gastritis. I tried many remedies, but nothing did me any good. A friend from Queensland, seeing how ill I was, recommended me to take Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. I did t so, and had only taken about four doses I when I obtained relief. I am a commertraveller, and visit many of the mining centres of Tasmania and New Zealand, and will certainly never go on my travels again, without a bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera, and Diarrhoea Remedy with me. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers. Mr W. C. Wockner, Toowoomba, Queensland, writes : "Chamberlain's Cough Remedy is an excellent Remedy. I have been suffering from a severe cold for the last two months and it has effected a cure. It is a pleasure for me to recommend it to anyone with a bad cold." This is the opinion of one of the oldest and most respected residents of Toowoomba, and has been voluntarily given in good faith that others might try Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and be benefited as he was. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers.
