Owners and trainers of trotting hoi'bcs are reminded that nominations for the various events to be decided at tlie inaugural race meeting of the Wanganui Trotting Club on Saturday, December 12, close this (Thunsday) evening at 9 o'clock, with Mr Selby Morto.i, secretary. A cable message the other day stated that the Sydney lad, Frank Wootton, had ridden 13 winners during the past week in England, and therefore he must again be pretty close to the top of the list of winning jockeys. At the time of the suspension of his license in September, Frank Wootton's score was equal to that of W. Higga, 98 firsts, while D. Maher had ridden 101 winners, and excitement among the partisans of the jockeys has probably once more reached a high pitch. The flatracing season in England practically concludes this month. Sick Headache usually results from a disordered condition of the stomach and can be corrected by taking a medium doso of Chamberlain's Tablets. Try them and be convinced. When taken as soon as the first indication of the attack appears they will greatly lessen its severity. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers.
