The Interview with Prince von Bulow.

Announcement by the Kaiser

BERLJN, November 18.

The Deutscher Rue l-yanzoiger officially intimated that the interview between the Kaiser and Prince von Bnlow lasted for several hours.

Prince von Billow described to the Kaioer the feeling manifested by the German people owing to the publication in the 'ielegraph of the mtei^iew. He (the Prince) also explained his attitude in the Reichstag. The Kaiser received the explanation with great seriousness, and announced his will in tho follow ing terms : He was not swayed by the exaggerationis of the public criticism, which he feels to be unjust as his foremost Imperial duty is to secure the consistency of the Empire's policy, while safeguarding the constitutional responsibilities accordingly. The Kaiser approved of Prince von Billow's declarations in the Reichstag, aud assured him of his continued confidence.

Prince von Bulow informed the Miuisters of the Prussian Council, the Federal Council, and the President of tiic Reichstag, of the result of the interview, and elated that tho Kai,er would probably make an early public announcement.
