Some ten or eleven thoroughbred horses will be put up for sale by public auction by Messrs J. H. Nixon ami Co. at their horse fair on Saturday. Full particulars in our auction columns.
A splendid assortment of linen gooda such as tray cloths, tea cloths, table centres, nightdress bags, linen bags, and pillow shams have just arrived at Melbourne House. There is a beautiful range or real Irish drawn-thread work in beautiful designs. As these goods are marked 30 per cent, less than ordinary retail prices Mr J. J. Buckrell anticipates a great sale of them. • '
