In reference to the Bishop-Hoskin wedding, particulars of which were published on Saturday, the name. of the bride was erroneously stated as Hopkins; instead of Hoskin.
On Friday evening the members of the Christ Church choir paid a surprise; 'visit to the residence of Mr C. W. Nay lor and presented that gentleman with a handsome dressing case and a silver-mounted shaving glass and outfit, while Mrs Naylor was handed a silver-mounted biscuit barrel and butter dish. ; ' Mr V. Mainberg, who has resigned his : position in the local Railway Department, left to-day en route to Taumarunui, where, wjth a brother, he enters' a land agency business. During his stay in Wanganui Mr Mainberg proved himself a young man of: sterling character, and he will be missed in hockey. and football circles and in the T.Y.M.I.
