i • • * N.Z.L.M.A. CO.'S REPORT. Thera was a good attendance of buyers at our sales to-day, and we are pleased to report an improvement in prices. We esti- L mate wool appreciated par to Jd per lb/ and sheepskins about Jd per lb. Hides remain firm, but calf-skins, sound and in good condition, were £d per lb higher than" last sale. We quote: — Wool. — Crutchings medium 3Jd to 3£d, do. heavy and seedy l£d to 3d, crossbred fleece (stragglers) 4Jd to sd, crossbred lambs 4fd to 5Jd. Skins. — Crossbreds fine s£d to 6d, do. coarse 4££d to s£d. do. short wool 2£d to 3id, do. damaged Id to 4d, green skins up to 4s 2d each. Hides. — Ox medium to ssd, ox light to 4Jd, cow 4d to 4fd, damaged hides 2sd to 3d, dry hides l^d to 3£d, calf sound 6d to 7£d, do. damaged Id to 4£d, cowtaila (dry) 2d to 7*d.
