Dalgety and Company, Limited, held their fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides, and tallow on Friday, 11th inst., when a large catalogue of all classes was submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Wool. — There was spirited competition, and prices advanced by about $d per lb, crossbred lambs selling at from 4}d to s£d, do. fleece 5Jd, inferior 2}d, crossbred crutchings 2^d to 3sd, inferior 2d to 2sd, crossbred locks and pieces l^d to l£d. Sheepskins advanced by about id per lb. Fine crossbred realised 5Jd to 6d, crossbred 4d to ssd, halfbred 4d to s£d, crossbred shorts 3d to 4d, crossbred dead and broken 2fd to 4d, crossbred hoggets sd, crossbred lambs. 4£d to ssd, inferior 3sd to 3fd, shorn lambs 3Jd, lambs dead and broken 3Jd to 4d, merino 3^d, pelts -2£d, inferior £d, crossbred salted 2s 9d to 3s lid, crossbred damp 2s 8d to 3s 6d.
