(Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 13.
The Political Labour League has decided to nominate Mr R. Douglas for the Dunedin South seat, now held by Mr T. K. Sidey,, at the general election, and J. W. M-unro for Dunedin West, now represented by Hon. J. A. Millar. Mr McLaren (Wellington) wrote declining to accept nomination for Dunedin West. The League decided to recommend Mr W. Barr to the workers of Port Chalmers, and Mr J. T. Johnson to the workers of Taieri electorate. Eden. AUCKLAND, September 14. Mr J. W. Shackelford, Government candidate for the Eden seat, addressed his first meeting of electors at Avondale on Saturday. He expressed general approval of the present administration.
