A notice appears 111 to-night's Gazette prohibiting the 'mpcrtation of goods, manufactured, or produced wholly or in part by pi'ison labour, or which have been made within v <6r i/i connection with any prison, gaol, or penitentiary; also, goods similar in character to those sold or offered. 1 for sale by any person, firm, or corporation having a contract for the manufacture of euch articles in such institution, or by any agent of such person, firm, or corporation, or whei such goods were originally purchased trom or transferred by any such contractor.
