In view of the fact that the Green must be closed next week some slight alterations have had to be made regarding the Singles competition lor Mrs E. D. Reid's trophy, ihe drawings for tomorrow are as follows :^-Ba 11 plays GorLaughton plays Laird, and Haase plays .burgess. The final for G. raterson's trophy will be piayea to-morrow afternoon, play .to commence at 2 p.m. sharp. The Lcmmittce are particularly anxious to see a tull attendance on the green tomorrow so that members can get into good "niuk v> for the forthcoming games at JiasCer.

The following is the programme for the Easter trip. — ijeave Wanganui by 6.40 train for Eltham, playing there in the afternoon and catch tho mail for New Plymouth in the evening. Play the New Plymouth Club on Saturday morning and tiie iiuroy Club in the aiternoon. Spend Sunday in New Plymouth and leave by the mail train. on^Easter Monday* for Hawera, playia&Jihe^in, tha .afiternoon,and leave i'of*",home by the late train same evening. With fine weather the touring party should spend a very pleas•uit liouaay. Following are the names of J the players who are making the trip: — Messrs j. Paterson, G. Paterson, D. Mil- I ler, G. R. Simpson, j. Laird, W. Glasgow, (i. Gordon, D. Gellatly, J. Forbes, I H. Haase, W. L. Larson, W. Ritphings, X Coles, and A. S. Burgess.

The dredge is being brought up to the wharf for repairs to her tumbler, and the fitting of a new side shoot. During the time she is laid up, the Priestnian dredge will be used at the wharf to deepen the bcrthages, wh.*re silting is taking place. She will thus bo able to utilise the hoppers used on th<- flats To carry away the spoil. '
