Oats. — Farm; is are holding without justification, statistics showing, .that the D< minion will -have to unburden this season to the extent of nearly nne-third over last, which carried a surplus. Eastern Commonwealth States are negotiating lor milling samples, and will require teed short ly, but any advance on ruling costs will cheek movement. 1$ grade Danish. (J.'irtona, and sparrowbills lisi<-ut 2s> (id, Duns 2s Bd, seeds 2s lOd.
Wheat. — Home market is disorganised with Nortji America and Argentine forcing trade. Sislor-States are relieving South Australia at slightly -firmer rates, and Dominion Jias also hardened to 4s 9d, late rise in flour accelerating. Powl iced 4s Bd.
Potatoes. — With abundant crops growers are anxioas to avoid, last year's experience, and Miit, early. White are easier at, t'4 10s. blue ,£4 las, Tasmaniau equal, cost, but not ir favour.
Maize. — Supply meagre at 4s Bd. Australian value much higher.
Barley. — Demand slackening, first orders off band. Malting is worth 5s 3d, feed 3s 9d. Cape 3s 9d
Peas. — Partridge weaker, 4s; split .£ls 10s. Bran. — A<iiv" at Jfco os. Pollard.— Still short at .£6 KJs. Oatmeal. — 25.* remain at .£l3, rolled oatj jElß,oatina KXs ik\; hardening expected. Hay. — Pressed rye-clover 85s, straw 42s (Id. " '
