URIC AND BILIARY POISONS. (By " Metabolism.") The chemical change, which is continuously taking place in the substanc^ of our bodies, results in the production of certain waste matter which mast be expelled as rapidly as formed, or it becomes actively poisonous. A great deal of fhis waste matter is thrown off by the lungs. It is estimated" that, ill' the form of carbonic acid, carbon equal -to eight ouncea of puie charcoal leaves the body through the lungs every day. The skin, too, removes a proportion of waste matter, and the remainder is dealt with by the kidneys and liver. It is the failure of the kidneys and liver to do their share of work efficiently by ridding the system of uric and biliary matter which causes us to .suffer from rheumatism, gout, neuralgia, plumbago, sciatica, blood disorders, anaemia, indigestion, biliousness, jaundice, gravel, stone, bladder troubles, general debility, sick headache, and Bright's disease. When the kidneys and liver are* perfectly performing ■ their TF unctions, we do not suffer from these disorders, 'and the reason that Warner's Safe Cure is so effective in curing them is simply that this medicine acts specifically upon the kidneys and liver and restores thoso vital organs ta, health and activity, when the causative uric and biliary poisons are regularly eliminated in a natural manner. Persons suffering from any of the disorders named should read a treatise, published by H. 11 . warner and Co., Ltd., Australasian Branch, Melbourne, which will be sen^ postal" fee on application, 'j In addition to tne regular 5/- and 2/9 bottles of Warner's Safe Cure, a concentrated form of the medicine is now issued at 2/6 per bottle. Warner's Safe Cure (Concentrated) is not compounded with alcohol, ai^-contains the same number of doses as the 5/- bottle of Warner's Safe Cure. - , "7 i Clergymen, lawyers, public speakers, teachers, and singers can wonderfully tone and strengthen the vocal chords by taking"* teaspoon ful doses of TUSSICURA- whenever needed. 5
