HASTINGS, April 8.

The weather, which was cold and showery, improved towards noon, and the attendance at the Hawkers Bay A. and P. Society's Autumn Show was larger than anticipated.

In the dairy produce section, for factory made cheeses suitable for export, the Norsewood Dairy Company secured first and second. Factory buter for export: Heretaunga Company, 93 points, Ist; Cheltenham, 92f , 2nd ; Norsewood, 89J, 3rd. Fac-tory-made powdered butter: Heretaunga Ist. Cheltenham 2nd, Niels Nikolaison 3rd.

In fat sheep, suitable for frozen meat trade, Oswald Nielson secured first in each class.
