TJBIC AND BILIARY POISONS. (By "Metabolism.") The chemical change, which is continuously taking place in the substance of our bodies, results in the production of certain waste matter which must be expelled as rapidly as formed, or it becomes actively poisonous. A great deal of this waste matter is thrown off by the lungs. It is estimated that, in the form of carbonic acid, carbon equal to eight ouncea of pure charcoal leaves the body through the lungs- every day. The skin, too, removes a proportion of waste matter, and the remainder is dealt with by the kidneys and liver. It is the failure of the kidneys and liver to do their Share of work efficiently by ridding the system of uric and biliary matter 'which causes us to suffer from rheumatism, gout, neuralgia, plumbago, sciatica, blood disorders, anaemia, indigestion, biliousness, jaundice, gravel, stone, bladder tnubles, general debility, sick headache, and Bright's disease. When the kidneys and liver are* perfectly performing their functions, we do not suffer from these disorders, and the reason that -Warner's Safe Cure is so effective iii curing- them is 'simply that this medicine adtff specifically upon the kidneys and Tiver f fctid restores those vital organs to health" and activity, when the causative uric and biliary poisons are regularly eliminated in a natural manner. " Persons suffering from any of the disorders named should read a treatise, published by H. H. Warner and Co., Ltd., Australasian Branch, Melbourne, which will be sent post free on application. l In addition to the regular 5/- and 2/9 bottles of Warner's Safe Cure, a concentrated form of the- medicine is now issued at 2/6 per b6ttle. Warner's Safe Cure (Concentrated) is not compounded with alcohol, and contains the same number of doses as the 5/- bottle <o& Warner's Safe Cure.
