FATHER O'SULLIVAN'S LECTURE TO-NIGHT. Concerning the pictures, the Manawatu limes says, "The bright particular feature of the entertainment was the series of animated pictures, all of which were new and thoroughly interesting^ It would be difficult to state which was the most attractive, but those depicting the presentation at Drury Lane of "AH Baba and the Forty Thieves" were artistic in the extreme, and at the same time remarkably realistic. Another good series, and which appealed to the nautically inclined among the audience, were the naval pictures delineating life on the training v ships of the navy and big gun practice on warships. Other good pictures were the Coventry Pageant, the central figure of which was La Milo appearing in the role of the historic Lady Godiva, La Milo in private life, and several films with comic vein strongly apparent.
