Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: — At Wanganui on 12th iust. we yarded 1500 aheop and 200 head of cattle. The sheep consisted mostly of cull to medium lambs which sold well up to the market, and with the exception of two peris of rams we cleared the entry. Cattle were in slack demand. At. Waverley on the 14th inst, the advertised entry came forward, and sold at late rates. Quotations: —

Wanganui. — 4-toota'of f.ni. wethers 12s 6d, cull lambs 2s 9d to 3s 3d, medium lambs 7s, cull owes 3s 4d, fat heifers (prime) £4> 4s, fat cows £4-, cows and calves 40s, 3-year steera JB3 6d, mixed yearlings 255. Wavcrley. — Small woolly lambs 5s 3d, 2 and 4-tooth ewes 13s Bd, f.ni. rams 5s to 7s 6d, 18-months to 2-year heifers 38s, cows in milk i>3.
