King Manuel's Pathetic Confession.

It is stated that Prince Manuel was greatly moved. He remarked : ''I am without knowledge or experience, and place myself in your hands, .relying on your patriotism and wisdom. "~ Thereupon Premier Franco and the leaders of the Progressist and Regeneration Parties offered their support in the form of a Monarchsit coalition. This was accepted, and the Franco Cabinet resigned. Admiral Ferreira do Amaral has formed a coalition Cabinet, and there is a harmonious rally of all parties around the throne, which has been welcomed with great satisfaction.

The newspapers represent Prince Manuel as always being popular.

It is understood the Coalition Government will follow the policy of conciliation and reform.

The three dead regicides are all Portuguese. One, named Costa, was employed at an ironmonger's.
