TIMARU, February 2.

• At the auction sale of Mr J. Wilson's Allandale estate, "Fairlie," of 800 acres, cut into 34 lots, seven lots, totalling 1177 acres, were sold at from £7 10s to ,£lO 12s 6d per adre — an average of .£9 56 6d. The rest were passed at from £5 25 % 6d to i>lo per acre. There was a large attendance; but apparently not many bidders.
