TENNIS
A team of ladies from the Wanganui Lawn Tennis Club visited the VVangauni Girls' College yesterday. A very enjoyable afternoon wat> spent, and the matches played off resulted as follows: —
Misj Newcombe (Tennis C}ub) 8 v. Miss J. Tennent (Girls' College) 9, Miss Stanford 9 v. Mists N. Carruth 8, Miss Darley 9 v. Miss D. Christie 4, Miss Hawken 9 v. Mies F. Grant 6, Mrs Saunders 4 v. Miss B. Morrison 9, Miss Alexander 9 v. Miss W. McHardie 2.
