The Wanganui Yorkshire Society is to hold its first annual dinner on Thursday night, the second day of the Show, at 8 o'clock, in the Metropolitan Hotel. The arrangements for the fixture are well in hand, and everything promisee well for an enioyable evening. Visiting Yorkshiremen will be present from many parts of the colony, and any Yorkshiremen who happen to be in town an Thursday next, are cordially invited to attend. Tickets are selling at 5s each.
