O'NEILL'. BUCKJUMPERS.
This splendidly successful amusement enterprise will open its short season of three nights, commencing to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. The tent will be erected on Queen's Park. Mr O'Neill claims that he has an even better programme to offer now than was the case at the Christchurch Exhibition. Besides skilful demonstrations ot bareback riding, lassooing, etc., comic items are a chief feature, and invariably keepU the watching; crowds in roars of laughter. The favourite ponies, Sandow and Silver Prince, are with the show, and a novel item is the clown act with a trained donkey. O'Neill's king of buckjumpers, Maori Jack, cames here with a big reputation, considering there is only one man who has ever ridden him, and that one Mr Sidney O'Neill. Nevertheless, there are sure to be a few horsemen who will try to win the lar<»e sum that is offered to the man who "can sit him for half a minute.
