CONCERT AT JUBILEE HOME.

A most enjoyable evening- was spent last Thursday night at the Jubilee Home. Soate 50 young people journeyed up to the Home, some biking, others in a brake very kindly lent by Windleburn Bros. The following interesting programme was rendered: — Pianoforte duet, Misses Allomes; *>10, Miss M. Siddells; comic reading, Mr McElwain ; pianforte duet, Mr and Mts Fhomson ; poi dance, Putiki Maori girls ; vocal duet, Messrs Randal and Hooper; sailor's hornpipe, Mr Derungs; chorus, Putiki Maoris ; vocal duet, Misses E. Aliomes and Baykmon ; solo, Mr Forsytb ; "Corpenters' Kit" (action sonjj), Putiki Maoris. All of the items were very much appreciated, especially those of the Putiki Maoris. . During- the evening parlour game? were indulged in and supper handed round by the visitors. The singing of "Auld Lang Syne" brought a most successful evening to a close. Ringing cheers were given for Mr and Mrs Allan for their hospitality
