Another Holiday Muddie.

WELLINGTON. October 29.

The Shopkeepers' Association decided to observe the King's Hirthday holiday on the 11th instead of the 9th, and now the secretary of the Shop Assistants' Union has intimated that, as that body is working under an award of the Court which provides for the observance of the holiday on the date on which it fa"*, and as there is no provision for the substitution of any other date, double pay will be claimed if the grocers open their shops on Saturday.
