ACCIOCNTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per United Press Association.) EKETAIIUNA, June IU. A serious buggy accident occurred at liraumea yesterday. As Mesdames Collins and Holmes, Aliss Gilbert, the Her. McLean, and a servant were returning home from Waterfalls tfce horses' bolted and commenced Kicking. The road being rough, the occupants were* precipitated from the vehicle and Misa Holmes was picked np unconscious, but after artificial lesppiration had been resorted to, came jound. The driver, Hanseu, was also rendered unconscious, aud still remains so, under medical attendance. The other occupants are all more or less shaken and bjuiaed. PAHIATUA, June 10. A man named John Beaufort, a »ur▼eyor. was found by two men at the foot of a staircase .at about ten o'clock on Saturday night, he evidently having fallen down the stairs. He was conveyed to the Hospital and the doctor was summoned, but the man died at eight o'clock on Sunday morning.
