»;J - • (Per United Press Association.) GISBORNE, March 22. Sharp/, who was' killed yesterday, was aged abotft 35. Hi* wife besides .at Auckland. An inquest was held this afternoon. It is understood the Government hae decided to purchase a site for a drill hall at Gia borne. Last Tuesday six Maori couples, previously united under the Hauhau religion, were married by the Anglican clergyman, having embraced the Church of Ejngland religion. The ceremony was made the occasion for a great feast. A four-roomed cottage at Ormond was destroyed by fire whilst the fcunily , were absent at the sports. The occupier is William Morris."
