Press Association.— Teleeraph.— Copyright. Received March 21. 11.15 p.m. LONDON, March 21. In the House of Lords, Lord Denbigh raised tho Home Rule debate and elicited from Lord Crewe the statement that the Bill proposed the further extension of self-government. Lord Loreburn declared he would never support Home Rule except in the shape of a subordinate Parliament. They were unable to touch Irish Government without a step towards Home Rule. He hoped a great change would come before long, effecting 1 complete reconciliation as in Canada, and, ho trusted, South Africa. He claimed the Government was not solitary in proposing to deal with the question of Irish government otherwise than by Home Rule. Lord Lansdowne expressed the strongest misgivings of the policy fore-shadowed.
