The Muritai arrived from Onehunga at midday to-day, bringing a cargo of sugar, fruit, drain pipes, etc. from Onehunga. She leaves again to-night on the return journey north. The Ripple arrived . at mid-day from Westport^ with a coal cargo, oh discharge of which she will iwroceed to Greymouth to load for the Blun^'and proceeds then to coastal ports. She is to sail from Lyttelton at the end of this month for'the Chatham Islands. To-morrow the Huia will probably arrive from Wellington. To-night the Mo* -from Foxton and Gertie and Baden Powell from Westport, are due. The former will load cattle for Westport. Yesterday afternoon the steamer Ruapehu arrived it Wellington from London, via Car etown ami Hobart: The Bramley was due to have arrived at Melbourne yesterday from New York, en route to New Zealand. She is due at Wellington, via Sydney and Auckland, about the first week in January. The steamer FJverton Grange from Liverpool, but now at Auckland, is due at Wellington on -Christmas Eve.
