A bicycle lost by a local resident last week was recovered by the police this morning at the rubbish tip, behind the Racecourse. The rainfall at Aramoho for November was 2.51 inches, rain falling on 11 days. The greatest fall in 24 hourß was 1.17 inches, recorded on the 6th. There was a frost early in the mornings of the 16th and 29th. The rainfall for November last year was 3.85 inches, while the mean for November for the past eight years is 3.55 inches. The first burn of the seaon, and one. of the most successful ever held inland of Wanganui, is reported from up-river behind Raorikia, where the Messrs Connor Bros, had 640 acres felled.
