CHRISTCHURCH, October 23.
The continued dry weather is beginning to cause anxiety among farmers in South and Mid Canterbury. In all parts rain would be welcomed. Early sown crops are coming away well, but later sown are showing the effect of .the consistent nor'westers. On the lighter lands feed is beginning to suffer, and the prospects arc that those Uqjtvily stocked will have to find an outlet 'for their holdings.
