SCHOOL CADETS' TOURNAMENT. DRILL HALL, 25TH OCTOBER.

Judging by the amount of bugle calls to be heard about town at present this item is going to be one of th*' features of the programme on Thursday night. Each of the local schools are represented in this particular competition, and as all the competitors are confident of winning, a very keen contest will no doubt result. A set of medals has been given to the Defence Cadets for bayonet fighting, and this popular corps have four teams in active training for this event. This, .together with the school cadets' tournament, and exhibitions by the Marist Brothers' dumb bell squad, will provide an excellent evening's entertainment. Secure your tickets from the scholars attending the local schools, or from any of "the Non-Corns. Adults Is. children 6d.
