At cadi and every meeting of the Wanganui Agricultural" Association committee there is ample evidence forthcoming of the increased- popularity of this vigoroxis and enterprising organisation. Not only is this apparent through the generous donations for the purpose of enlarging and perfecting the general scope of the grounds, appurtenances, but also by the spontaneous' manner in which the roll of membership is being continually and materially added to. At the last meeting, for instance, no lops than twenty new members and fourteen life members were duly elected, and no donbt at the meeting of the committee t» bo held at the office to-wiorrow (Tuesday) evening at 7.30 the spirit of emulation prompting the executive tin sucb 'a practical manner will exceed the numbers above quoted. It cannot be too firmly or too often impressed on intending exhibitors that the date for the closing- of entries is Saturday week, 3rd November, and so that there should bo no possibility of loavin^r suck entries until too late, a» Mnforttinalely has too often been the case they should be made up and forwarded at once to the secretary, who, by post, wire, telephone, or personally, will supply any necessary information 'aird'^ supply programes, entry forms, etc.
