The Destroyed Buildings.
The places destroyed are: — Wellington Auctioneering Mart. Miss Roadie's fruit shop. Pinnock's Trocadero. Dwyer's Commercial Hotel. Job Cor ban, fancy goods. Thos. Shields, tailor. Whitcombe and Tombs. Bank of New South Wales (a handsome new structure). New Zealand Insurance Buildings, with several offices upstairs. Wellington Trust and Loan Offices. A. T. Bate, commission agent. The Strand Cafe.Union Bank. All the above are situated oa Jjambton Quay. L. H. Wilson's, sharebroker. Alliance Assurance and Imperial Insurance Companies'. Young and Tripe's new structure is partly damaged. All in Grey Street. The fire then turned into Featherstou Street, destroying Focke's (wine merchant). At 8 o'clock the fire was in hand.
