SYDNEY, September 22. The Sydney-Goulburn race, which was run under the auspices of the New South Wales Cyclists' Association, was favoured with fine weather. The roads also were good. Keen interest was taken in the event.

Fowler (22min start) and Butler (32m in) were in charge before Teaching Camden and maintained their advantage, Fowler getting home six minutes ahead of Butler. The winner's time was 7hrs 28min 25sec, which is 21min outside J. Arnst's record for the distance. Butier took 7hrs 43min 53kc; Henry (25min start) 7hrs 47min 27sec; Horder (scratch) 7hra 2m in 3sec.
