DISASTROUS EXPLOSION.
An American Town Wrecked.

Frass Association.— Telegraph.— Copyright. NEW YORK, September 22. The explosion of a waggon load of dynamite on a railway siding wrecked the town of Jellico, Tennessee. As a result of the explosion nine persons were killed and fifty injured, while five hundred people were rendered homeless. Th damage is estimated at a million dollars. One account ascribes the occurrence to men practising shooting at a mark on the side of a car which was laden with foiir hundred cases of some explosive.
