We are informed that the proprietors of "Chef" Baking Powder intend allotting several valuable prizes and all these "specials" should help to make competition fceen and be the result of producing some fine cooking exhibits. In the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association's prize list for the Spring Show horees and horse competitions are prominently catered for. In the competitions 3 hunters* events total JE72, and other classes for gentlemen riders £32, for lady riders £32, and mounted rifle section £4,6, besides challenge cups. The breed classes comprise sections for thoroughbreds, carriage, hacks, ponies, polo ponies. saddle, harness, boy and girl riders, and draughts, for which in all » sum of £390 is allotted. .The classification is so complete that owners of horees will find pleasure in lookiag up the schedule.
