Prayer meetings will be held from Monz^day to Thursday of next week in the Dublin Street Primitive Methodist Crutch.
The Rev. H. L. Blamiree, the organising secretary of the Young Men's Forward Movement in connection with the Weslevan Church, will preach in the Trinity Wesleyan Church on Sunday next, morning and evening. The evening service will be of a -special character, when an address on "Manly Christianity" will be given to young people. It is hoped that the members of the T.Y.M.I. will roll up in full force on Sunday evening to show their sympathy with Mr Blamires, who is devoting his time and energies to young men. the gallery of the church will be reserved for young men. On each evening next week Mr Blamires will conduct a speciaj service in the Wesleyan Church to young people. The Rev. J. G. Chapman will conduct the service at the Gonville Wesleyan Church Hall to-morrow evening at 7 o'clock.
At the Baptist Church to-morrow morning the Rev. Arthur Dewdney will preach on "The Son of Man Came Eating and Drinking; or. The True Sphere of Religion," and in the evening on "A Splendid Sneer."
"The Christ of the Crisis" and "The Yellow Peril — as it affects the colony" will be the Rev. E. Drake's subjects at the Primitive Methodist Church to-morrow, morning and evening respectively. Mr J. Jones will preach at Sedgebrook.
