CHRISTCHURCH, September 17. At the Court to-day a resident was fined 5s and costs for presenting a tram guard with a discount tramway ticket, he not being the original purchaser, from whom it was not transferable. The coupon was obtained in the car from the original purchaser, in ignorance of the conditions, and the case was brought because the habit was growing.
