Nominations for all events will close with the secretary at the offrWbf the Club, Bulls, on SATURDAY, 25th August, 1906, at 9 p.m. Weights for tho first day's evente will be declared on or about SATURDAY, Bth September, 1906, and for tho second day's events at the office of the Club at 7.30 on the evening of tho first day. Acceptances for th© first day's events will close with the secretary at the office of the Club, Bulls, on THURSDAY, 13th September, 1906, at 9 p.m., and for the second day's events at the same place at 9 o'clock on tho evening of the first day. RULES. All races to be- run under tho New Zealand Rules of Racing. A hack ia a horse which has not at time of nomination, won a race of the value of KM) flova, or races of tho collective value of 230 sovtr. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to cany a penalty of 71ba, or two or more races lOlbs. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Rangitikei Racing Club, Bulk, and entrance money to bo enclosed, with name of horse, age at time of entry, n;ui:o of owner and trainer, pedigree, and colours of riders. AH nominations by wire must be confirmed by letter first mail afterwards. All monies for investment on the totalisator must bo in th«> hands of th« secretary at least 30 minutes before tho advertised time of the start of the race for which the investment is intended.
