WANGANUI RINKING CLUB.
CARNIVAL TO-NIGHT.
We give a final reminder of the rinking carnival to be held in the Drill Hall tonight under the auspices of the Wauganui Rinking Club. The first event on the programme will commence at 8 o'clock and all competitors are requested to be on the marks at the appointed time. A first-class orchestra has been engaged to play ii'uring the evening and their presence'will no doubt go a long way to make the Carnival a success. The public can rely on some close Rnd exciting racing as keen competition fdr the rinking sports is anticipated. The following handicaps have been declared for the Mile Race to be held* at the Drill Hall this evening:— E. Loftus, scratch; A. M. Purser and F. Foftus, three quarter lap; W. Huitable and I. Williams, 2 laps; W. Darley, 2J laps.
