DUNEDIN, July 17. The Hon. G. McLean, ex-chairman of directors of the Colonial Bank, has JUed an affidavit concurring in the proceedings taken by Mr P. C. Neill in applying for the suspension of the order in respect to the destruction of certain of the Colonial Bank's books, on the grounds that the books are necessary for the defence in the action commenced by Mr Braund against McLean and Neill.
